Following celebrity tweets on Twitter has practically become a national pastime as the public’s fascination with the daily (banal?) lives of stars continues to rise. Of the celebs out there tweeting, I can think of few that would be as entertaining as Kathy Griffin.
The infamous comedian of the D-List is active on Twitter, and you can become one of Griffin’s nearly 300,000 followers to tune in on daily antics. She keeps fans abreast of her schedule, gives colorful commentary and pre- and post-show reactions, as well as a wealth of one-liners for which Twitter is most aptly suited given the character limit.

Kathy Griffin will be televising herself undergoing a pap smear on the next episode of My Life on the D-list. She hopes to do for pap smears what Katie Couric did for colonoscopies. A Pap smear is a test that screens for cervical cancer.
The procedure will be completed poolside at the Palomar Hotel, Los Angeles. Kathy Griffin tickets are not necessary since the event is open to the public, with things kicking off at noon.
Griffin reassures critics, “You will not be seeing the actual part of the hoo-ha where the speculum will be going, because I don’t want to have people vomiting… Of course, I don’t want to turn off my gays, so that’s why I went and got vajazzled! So now I have a row of crystals between my navel and my hoo-ha.”
When asked why she wants to have the procedure broadcasted, Griffin said she hopes to help promote women’s health. “I started talking to girlfriends of mine, my age and younger, and I just can’t believe how many women are afraid to get a pap smear or they forget or they’ve gone 10 years without doing one… The message is, if you see me doing something so outrageous-some may say repulsive-that should make it easier for you to pick up the phone and call your doctor and go get one in the privacy of your own doctor’s office.”
